Our 1st Year, Session 2, Week 4
Children’s Business Exhibition was a HUGE success!
The Eagles opened their businesses to a public crowd of over 100 customers on Thursday night – and many sold out all their products by the end of the night!
They are now reflecting on feedback that was given by hundreds of participants as well as analyzing their profit and loss.
Thank you everyone who came and supported these young Entrepreneurs on their hero’s journey!
Myth or Reality?
Yogi masters across the world claim they can regulate their own body temperature and heart rate through meditation practice.
This was put to the test this week as Eagles practiced visualization and Yoga postures on Friday.
Eagles learned to control their breathing and heart rate during exercise.
Mindfulness and listening to your body is an important skill – just as important as listening to others.
Collaboration & Peer Learning
Self-learning and Peer-to-Peer learning are essential in today’s collaborative world!
Active Leadership Academy relies heavily on self-directed learning with a lot of peer feedback—older students help younger students set and monitor goals.
For example: Eagle’s have been learning and practicing the process of peer review/critiquing each other’s writing as we are reaching the end of this sessions Writer’s Workshop.
